Our Founder
Katina Aziz is the Founder and Managing Director of Omree Inc., where she advises family offices and institutional partners with more than $800 million in aggregate assets. With over 15 years of experience spanning hedge funds, private equity, and multi-asset family office platforms, Katina brings a rare combination of institutional rigor and entrepreneurial vision to every engagement.
At Omree, she guides clients through strategic investment planning, portfolio administration, and operational infrastructure design. Her expertise lies in optimizing capital allocation, enhancing data transparency, and strengthening governance across the full investment cycle. Under her leadership, Omree has developed proprietary portfolio analytics and reporting systems that enable real-time insight, improved performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
Before founding Omree, Katina held senior investment and operational roles at both public and private firms, including Fulmar Advisors Ltd., Millgate Capital Inc., AXA Advisors, and E*TRADE Capital Markets. She has overseen multi-billion-dollar portfolio transactions, led fund restructurings, and managed complex cross-border investments.
Katina holds an MBA in Quantitative Finance from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a BBA in International Business from Berkeley College. She is fluent in English, conversational in Arabic, and professionally proficient in Spanish.
An active member of the Family Office Club and Family Office Experiences network, Katina is committed to advancing collaboration and innovation across the global alternative investment community.
